WatchTime New York 2019 – AMERICA’S LARGEST WATCH EVENT
America’s largest luxury watch event, WatchTime New York, has become a fixture of Manhattan’s fall event calendar and a can’t-miss event for watch lovers worldwide. The public wristwatch exhibition will return to Midtown Manhattan for its fifth year, October 25-26.
This year, WatchTime New York is bigger than ever with a record 37 watch brands participating in the show. With ticketed admission, the public can try on and experience more new, rare wristwatches than anywhere else in the United States.
The year marks several other milestones for event producer WatchTime Magazine. In 2019, the award-winning watch media platform is celebrating 20 years of publication and the fifth anniversary of the WatchTime New York event. For 20 years, WatchTime Magazine has brought wristwatch enthusiasts closer to the personalities behind the timepieces with engaging print and digital content.WatchTime New York was launched to provide an immersive and luxurious experience that unites brands and enthusiasts in a hands-on, social event.
WatchTime New York kicks off with its much-anticipated luxury cocktail party and give guests the first chance to see the broad range of timepieces on display, including made-in-America timepieces, one-of-a-kind wristwatches, limited-edition models, and million-dollar watches from brands such as Omega, Breguet, Grand Seiko, MB&F, RGM, Montblanc, Greubel Forsey, and more.
Party attendees also get to mingle with VIP idols from the world of watches, including design visionaries, up-and-coming watchmakers, and brand founders like Stephen Forsey, Fiona Kruger, Romain Gauthier, Roland Murphy, Rex Rexhepi, Christophe Claret, and Kari Voutilainen, to name a few. Guests can also interact with influencers, brand ambassadors, and WatchTime editors while enjoying the top-shelf open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and tasty catered fare at several food stations throughout the evening.
The celebration continued with a full day of expert talks that analyze trending topics in the watch world. Past panels have covered everything from trade trends and designer Q&As to high-profile collectors’ panels and talked on American micro brands and the watches of James Bond.
